Stephanie's Letter

We finally are putting Stephanie's letter about the birth of Rebeca! She loves her sister and is always helping me. We laugh because when we are changing her diaper we usually are not fast enough and she potties on us!
Stephanie’s Letter
On May 6, 2008 my mom had a baby. She was born in Americana in at the hospital called Sao Fransico. When my mom was not here in Nova Odessa, we went at the girl’s practice and the boys practice. When we went to pick up my mom two of the girls Priscila and Simone went with us. The baby was three days old. Her name is Rebeca Elizabeth Soares. We went to a place to pay for the Dr. We went back home with our friends and Andrea made our lunch. It was very good. We ate chicken, rice, beans, and corn. We drank grape juice. Then Elisa and Dirceu came to talk and see the baby. They went home or to the store. Rebeca took a bath. Jessica and I played , went running, and shots some baskets. We came back home and played in the sand. For dinner we ate soup or leftovers. Lastly we all went to sleep.

Rebeca
On May 6th a little girl was born in Americana at the hospital Sao Francisco. Rebeca she sleeps a lot during the night and the day. She was 8 lbs and 20 in. Rebeca was born at 10:50 pm and she stayed at the hospital for 24 hours. She has a lot of clothes. We can not choice what we are going to put on her. My father, Stephanie, Timothy, Tiago, Priscila and Simone and I went to pick up my mother and Rebeca at the hospital. I went to practice that morning and I like practice. After that we went to the hospital then we came back home. Rebeca had her first car ride. We got out of the car I got the baby and I put her in her crib. She did not like it and she cried and cried. We had to take her out until she stopped crying. I like my new sister a lot. She is very cute and she likes to drink a lot of milk. Yesterday I played Battle Ship with my dad. I won the game. After we played, we played Uno and I won. My sister Stephanie won two times. My sister Rebeca finally stopped crying.

Rebeca
On May,6 2008 my new sister was born. Her name is Rebeca Elizabeth Soares. She was 8 pounds. She was 20 inches long. Rebeca was born at 10:00 pm and stayed at the
hospital for 24:00 hours. We picked them up on Thursday. The hospital that they stayed
was called Sao Francsio. When we went to pick them up, we took Simone and Priscila
the two girls that are helping my dad. When we got home our good friend made lunch
for us. It was time to for the baby to nurse, so we all ate except my mom that was nursing.
Our friend made the lunch for my mom and she did not eat anything so we laughed. After we
ate, my dad went to practice. My mom taught us how to chang diapers and put on clothes
After all that she went to sleep. I Timothy went to play in the sand. When I came back
I took a shower and played skip-bo. I won. My dad was playing Battle Ship with my sister
Jessica.
