Here is the first day of home school at our house. Jessica is saying the Pledge of Allegiance with the A Beka DVD. She is in 4th grade, Stephaniee is in 3rd, Timothy in 6th and Tiago is in 1st.

Rebeca 4 month

Our precious little baby is growing. She is so much fun for everyone. As she laughs we all gather around to see. She brings so much joy to our house. She looks just like Jessica and her DAD.

Soares Olympics

We had our own Olympic party with friends last Saturday. Everyone competed in 12 different events. The kids even made medals for the winner. Everyone invented a made up country and then colored a flag. An example: Tiago's country was Cars. Some people in our house are soo competitive (Timothy) that it was hard not to win every event. The competitions ended with our delious Olympic cake!!!

Soccer team from New York

We went to the airport on Tuesday morning to pick up the soccer team arriving from New York. There are 24 girls and two coaches that are here with us for two weeks to play soccer and do ministry. They will be playing games and doing clinics. Jessica and Stephanie are loving it. Tiago fits right in playing soccer with all the girls. Timothy is a little more quiet with all those girls. The first two days have been rest days. They will play an indoor soccer game tonight and then tomorrow they will play against a really good team. Pray for them and us as we share Jesus with the athletes here. At the airport with Simone and Priscila

In Memory of Buddy

Today our golden lab was hit by a big sugar cane truck out on our road. He was killed instantly. We are all very sad. We buried him this morning. He was such a good dog and followed me everywhere. We still have Lady the black lab. Death is never easy but are thankful for the time God allowed us to enjoy Buddy.
