God's Beautiful Waterfall

Our family got to visit this beautiful waterfall this week. It is in a town about two hours from us. we enjoyed it so much that we are all excited to get to go back. During this time in Brazil it is Carnival time. While everyone else is drinking and partying we are getting to enjoy God's beautiful creation. Monday and Tuesday are also holidays here. We are planning some other trips. These are our good friends from Sao Paulo. They came to spend a few days with us.

The brothers are having a visit. Timothy and Tiago are good friends. When Timothy is not taunting him that he is a baby which Tiago hates. They have a good time together.

The kids are finding rock. They were just sure that they had found diamonds. I think that it was glass tossed and turned in the waterfall so it was smooth

The Beach "Praia Grande"

Last weekend our family went to the beach to visit one of the families on our staff. They will be living there and working with a women's soccer team. the team will be all Christian players. They will play in the top professional league here. We are praying as this project is just beginning. Rebeca enjoyed the water and the sand.

Mini-Triathlon

Here we are getting ready to start the triathlon. It was a fun day. All of us but one guys did it in teams. I swam for my team. Timothy swam too for his team. We had a BBQ after for everyone. The father of the guy who helped Rogerio organize it gave a message about know Jesus. I had also made Timothy a cake for his birthday because many or his friends were here. The cake is the colors of the soccer team Sao Paulo that he likes.

Wet n Wild

For Timothy's 12th Birthday we spent the day at Wet n Wild. We had never been before so it was a huge treat. It was during the week so no lines. The kids went on all the slides lots of times. Rogerio hung out with Rebeca so I got to enjoy the slides too. We are thankful for Timothy's life. His favorite present was a DS from Grandpa and some games from them and Uncle Chris and Aunt Debbie. Thank you guys so much

Crowed Kitchen

These pictures were from New Year Eve. I am including them for you mom. How about all those people in the kitchen. Enough to make any mom crazy. We did have a great dinner and fun evening and the kitchen got cleaned up.

Rebeca

Rebeca loves to climb through things. She climbs through the chairs. Do not be scared she already has learned to go down the little stair into the kitchen

Rebeca's First Cookie

Rebeca eats about anything I give her. As a good Brazilian, she is already eating rice and beans with lots of veggies. Like all of us she loves cookies too. We laugh because the packages of cookies here in Brazil are small. There are about 15 cookies in a package. We all use to get three or two each now with one more eating cookies we will each get less:)
