Happy Birthday Mom

It is my mom's birthday Nov. 29 I found some really neat picture of her with her grandchildren and me. I am so grateful to God for her life. For the example she is to me and my children. We all love her so much. Last year we got to celebrate with her on her birthday which was so special. I even got to make her a cake. I found a really neat cake in a magazine. Wanted it to be a really special cake......Well that was one of the worst cake any of us has ever taste! We all had a good laugh about that. Mom have a great day.

This was my birthday with my mom! That was a special day. The cake my mom made for me was sooooo much better then the cake I made for her:) Special note my sister is one of the best cooks and these twice baked potatoes are to die for. My children talk about Aunt Debbie's cooking all the time!

3 on 3 Tournament

Monday was a holiday so we took advantage of this and had a 3 on 3 tournament with the kids and older guys too. Here are some of the girls that played Boys in Tiago's age group playing

Jessica and Stephanie playing aginst each other. They were very competivie this day. Jessica is stronger then Stephanie but make for good competition. Stephanie's team won.

Painting the Basketball Court

Last Sunday afternoon we were at the club doing some painting on the basketball court and one of the hoops. Tiago was enjoying himself. All Soares family member were involved. They are all such great helpers now what would we do without them. You can see that the court needs painting and we really just painted the key part of the court and the lines. The city said they are going to paint when we do not know?

Rebeca is helping too. We are trying to tell her not to step on the white lines but she forgot a few time. She might still have white paint on her feet!

Sleeping at Basketball Practice

This is Rebeca taking a little nap at basketball practice. Rogerio sends her into the little room and she takes a nap for about an hour, then she is already to play again. She loves being at the club with all the kids and bouncing the basketball.

Birthday Package from the Lang Family

Jessica and Tiago received a package from the Lang family for their birthdays. This is a big treat here so they were very excited Wow!

Tago received the neatest Lego game. He loved it

Rebeca is having another wild hair day. If she only had a better mom to brush it for her!! Jessica is dividing the chocolate and treats. They thought it was just for the two of them but I reminded them that I was pretty sure that Aunt Debbie sent the treats for all to enjoy and we all did:) YUMMY

Sisters Swimming

Rebeca is learning to swim too in the pond here at the camp. She loves it. Jessica and Stephanie are always willing to stay with her and help. Rebeca has an array of swimming suits from her cousin Ashley so we could go swimming everyday and she has a different suit to wear:) Jumping is her favorite thing to do.

We went to Subway for Jessica's birthday. Yes, Subway is a real treat here in Brazil. Good to be so thankful for small things.

Jessica on Her Birthday

Jessica woke up ready to open her birthday box from grandma! These are the new outfits that she got. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa. She loved everything. We all got to eat Fruit Loops for breakfast and then we started cleaning and getting ready for the party. Thankfully the cake is already made. Now just the decorations put up and games ready.
