New Basketball Hoops

The glass backboards arrived last week. Thank to many friends that help to buy them.
The nets are really different.  We will see if they work?

This is after chuch.  Maybe they were talking about the hoops 

or about the Bible.  
What does having new basketball hoops have to do with sharing the gospel.  Well because of the basketball program four of the guys in the above picture are coming to church.  Prayerfully the new hoop will help us attract more kids and teams to the Community Church gym to hear the gospel.  While Rogerio is never pushy about the gospel.   He always makes sure there is a Bible Study once a week and new people hear about Jesus!

Hello Soares Family,
I was hoping to email you but couldn't exactly figure out how. I stumbled across your blog today and couldn't help but read. A friend of mine and I have been talking about Brazil lately and both feel that God is placing it on our hearts to go there. I am currently involved in sports ministry here in California and have been looking into finding something like that in Brazil but have been coming up short. I noticed that your family works for or closely with Athletes in Action. I would love the chance to hear from you and learn more about your ministry to Brazil. Hope to hear from you soon.
